HS4H Changes due to Covid
THANK YOU for being part of the Housing Solutions for Hope Guild 2019 fundraising efforts! With your support, HS4H raised enough money to help over 20 families avoid homelessness in our first year!
We realize that everyone’s focus is on their families and loved ones right now. We hope that you are all staying healthy and doing well as we all navigate these unprecedented times. Our hearts go out to all of you who are directly impacted by this virus, the economic repercussions, and the challenges of providing essential services to our community.
With that in mind, we have made the difficult decision to delay our inaugural golf tournament fundraiser which was planned for August at Sand Point Country Club. We are deeply saddened to make this decision but believe it is in the best interest of the safety and well-being of our members and participants. We will also re-schedule the annual auction which was held in November of last year.
We are working with Sand Point Country Club on a new date to experience their newly remodeled course. We will also be confirming a date for our Auction at Sand Point Learning Center, tentatively February 2021. We hope that you’ll be able to join us in the future for one of our events for this great cause.
In the interim, we are planning alternative ways to raise money for Seattle Children’s families and our mission. Now more than ever, we must keep our focus on providing housing solutions for as many patient families as possible. A safe and stable home is the best place for healing and homelessness cannot be an option for families at Seattle Children’s.
